Diane%20Florio%20Picture.pngWith more than a decade of experience in organization and human resource development, Diane Florio is a great asset to HBO Systems.  In addition, Diane Florio founded her own consulting and coaching practice, Ascent Consulting, Inc.  Diane provides consultation, facilitation, coaching and training centered on impacting the human side of organizations and change to achieve company goals and business objectives.

Diane combines her unique experiences, talents and strengths to serve her clients in an authentic, enthusiastic and effective manner.  Her ability to understand the business needs that drive change and the complexity of human behavior makes her highly effective in helping clients create sustainable solutions with respect to talent development and talent strategies.

Diane's experience spans a variety of business sectors; small family business, consumer products, local government, financial and most recently the wireless industry where she led a myriad of strategic, organizational and employee talent initiatives.

Throughout her career she has had the great fortune to work in fortune 100 companies as well as start up and fast growth organizations.  She held positions of increasing responsibility working with all levels in an organization, from the front line to the executive staff.

Key accomplishments include:
Facilitated and led efforts to align senior R & D leadership regarding the mission and strategic plan including its communication and implementation throughout the R & D organization at Pepsi-Cola.  Built leadership alignment and role clarity..

Facilitated citywide Service Excellence & Accountability Initiative focused on improving efficiencies, enhancing customer service, and identifying cost-effective approaches while building a more participatory culture at the City of Raleigh.  Helped recoup over 300K in unclaimed revenues.

Had a lead role in building a company culture that embraced and practiced its core values while achieving financial, customer and employee satisfaction and implemented a comprehensive human resource development strategy to affect employee and organization performance.  These efforts contributed to SpectraSite being named a Top 5 employer in North Carolina.



Diane holds a Masters Degree in Organization Development from Fordham University and completed a Business Coaching certificate through the University of  North Carolina.  She is certified in CCL Benchmarks, DiSC Profiles,
Meyers Briggs and Team Facilitation.  In her spare time she enjoys
spending time with her husband and sons..
